Anne Beeson
Vice President, Homemakers for America
Anne is a home school mom of three from Dayton Ohio. Anne was thrust into civic activity in 2008 when
she was asked to be the co director of a Presidential Victory Center in the Dayton Ohio Area. This little
building became home to hundreds of volunteers and several home school families for six weeks as they donated their
time to support Sarah Palin.
During those weeks at the Center, Anne became known as the “calm in the storm” and was always there with a
welcoming smile for everyone who entered the door. While other campaign centers were sterile rooms filled
with a montage of tables and chairs scattered about, the Huber Heights Victory Center was filled with patriotic
pictures, banners and streamers. Coffee and snacks welcomed volunteers and mints were scattered across the
colorfully decorated tables where the volunteers spent hours making phone calls. Because of these little
touches the Huber Heights victory center received national attention, being mentioned on the Rush Limbaugh show and
people passing through on I-70 stopped in just to say hi. When asked why she went to so much trouble for the
volunteers Ann said, “We always need to remember they don’t have to be here. I just want them to know
how much we appreciate them giving of their time.” That special touch is what Anne brings to Homemakers for
America and the Abigail Adams Project. Anne and her husband Daren live in Dayton Ohio with their
three children.
