Frequently Asked Questions
Question: What makes the Abigail Project different from what other
organizations are doing?
1. Our voter information will not just be provided on the state and federal level but on the
local level as well
2. Our voter guides will not include party affiliation
3. We are not only providing the information but also teaming up with Liberty organizations all
over the country to form a network which will distribute the information to the voters at the polls on
Elections Day.
4. We have a huge network of partnering organizations that we continue to add
to. We don’t want reinvent the wheel. We want to work with other organizations to magnify our efforts
together. We don’t care who gets the credit. We just care that the job gets done. That is why we feel it is important to work together. When you don’t care who gets the credit it is phenomenal what you can
accomplish.
Question: What about
candidates who lie about their answers?
1. We will use voting records to qualify the candidates answers and will make a clear notation of
the discrepancies on the voter guides
2. We will make sure the candidates know we are qualifying their votes with their record when we
send their surveys.
Question:
What about when the candidates don’t turn in the surveys?
1. This is where We the People come in.
When candidates don’t return their surveys we will let the people in their districts know so you can call and
ask them why they haven’t returned it.
2. We will also let the candidates know when we send their surveys that if they don’t return the
survey we will mark on the voter guide that they refused to answer our questions. That should send a very clear message to voters. If they don’t want us to know who they are we don’t want them representing
us.
Question: What happens when
the Election is over?
1. The project will continue to grow to include local information connected through our
national network to include vital information in each community such as where and when city councils and
school boards meet and links to their websites.
2. We will also continue to expand the voter information from community to community in election
cycles as well as continue to add to our volunteer force and our list of strategic partners
3. Most importantly, we will hold our elected leaders feet to the fire once they are
elected. We are currently working with several of our partnering
organizations to create a communication system that will allow us to keep an eye on our elected leaders and
report on their service.
Question: What can I do to
help?
1. Let us know the candidates you are aware of who are running in the 2010 election including
school boards, county commissioners, city councils, state reps, etc. We want to know who all the candidates are not just the party
candidates. And we will need contact information for them or
someone in their campaign—both phone and email, so we can send them the surveys and confirm they received them.
2. We need to know what liberty organizations are in your state/community such as Tea
Parties, Liberty Groups, 9-12, Walnuts, etc. We need the name of
the organization, a website if they have one, contact person and contact info (phone and email).
3. We would like to add to our network and you can help. There are several state and national organizations that we would like to
connect with. We have many but we know there are
more. Please do not assume we know about the
organization. We would rather received 100 alerts about an
organization than miss them altogether. If you think they are an
organization we should know about please let us know. Again, we
need the name of organization, web address, contact person(s)
and email/phone.
4. Spread the word! We cannot stress this
enough. We have a very short time to build our army of
volunteers and promote awareness of the project. The mainstream
media doesn’t want anyone to know we are here and we are doing because they know informed voters threaten
their power and the establishment. They have proven it with
their lack of coverage of the Tea Parties. They are all hoping
we will just go away. They will not be promoting the Abigail
Adams Project so we need to. Please tell everyone you
know. You can share the link to the Abigail Adams Project so
they can read for themselves or pass on this email but we must spread the word. Here is the link http://www.homemakersforamerica.com/Abigail-Adams.html
