Feminism is Dying. Let's Give It A Boost!
By Kimberly Fletcher

The other day I received the following email from our website and it deeply troubled me. I would to
like to share part of it with you. The email reads:
I applaud your enthusiasm and goals, but I really have a problem with the name. I mention this only because it is
really hindering me from signing up, and I thought you should know in case there are many of us and you ever
consider changing the name.
I know many, many women just like me, and unfortunately I think they would feel the same way about joining a group
named "Homemakers for America". I don't have an alternative choice, but I don't think I would be taken seriously if
I tried to "pass the word" about you, and it is hard to get passionate about a group that has a name with which I'm
not comfortable. I truly say all this in love, and I hope you take it in the spirit it is intended! I pray that
your ministry is blessed, and let me know if you decide to change your name.
First of all, let me say, the name will never change. I didn’t choose it, it was inspired by God, I just obeyed. I
must admit, however, I didn’t obey right away. My pride stood in the way for several days. It seemed such a
ridiculous name. How could anyone take such a name seriously? Then God, in his infinite wisdom, showed me what I
should have seen, but couldn’t, because of my pride. I would like to share with you what I learned.
For the past four decades, the National Organization for Women (NOW) has been launching an all out assault on
women. Oh, it wasn’t blatant. It was worse. It was a brilliant plan, very clever and sneaky; kind of like, well,
the way Satan works. NOW has gone about slowly convincing us that we need to work outside the home to be of value.
They have slowly turned Homemaker into a dirty word. They have tried to convince us that only women who stay home
and watch soap operas all day, are homemakers. They’ve tried to convince us that women who work outside the home
are so much more important than those who stay home. They have worked steadily and fervently to divide, demean and
degrade us. And obviously, from the email I received, they are succeeding.
But I would like to show you just how magnificent the word Homemaker is. We, as women, are a very diverse group. We
come from a variety of career fields, religions, races, ethnicities, incomes and geographic areas. Homemaker is the
one thing that binds us together. Just think about it. Who is it that creates and manages your home? Who is it that
makes sure the home functions efficiently? You are! Of course we have support from our spouses and children but it
is us, the women in the home, who make it run. We are the Chief Domestic Officers. How’s that for a job title?
Working outside the home doesn’t mean we are not homemakers it just means we can multi-task.
For centuries Homemakers have been honored and revered. The role of a Homemaker is a time-honored tradition. It has
only been in the last few decades with the negative influence of NOW, that this has changed. Homemakers played a
vital role in the building of our nation. They were instrumental in the abolitionist movement, the civil rights
movement, and women’s suffrage. Even today many of America’s greatest leaders and most influential citizens are
homemakers.
Recently, Mary Matlin did a radio interview where she introduced herself as a mother. “I’m a mother,” she said,
“that’s what I do.” With all the things she has done and all she has accomplished to impact our country for good,
she first and foremost recognized herself as a homemaker.
You see, Homemaker is a mindset. The majority of Homemakers; are; have been; or will be mothers. The skills we
learn and tasks we accomplish as homemakers are the very things that facilitate our role as mothers. We have
allowed the feminists in this country to convince us that Homemaker is a demeaning word, a degrading station; and
therefore a less than worthy profession. This has contributed greatly to the world’s attempt to divide, redefine,
and devalue the family unit. And when we buy into their propaganda we propagate the destruction of the very thing
that means so much to us—family. Feminists have convinced society that home & family are secondary to career.
We’re smarter than that. No matter what we do outside the home our home is still our first priority.
So why do we allow these feminists the glory of making us feel inferior for putting our family first on our list of
priorities? All women are born homemakers. Some of us just fight against it; thus—Feminism. We, as women, have been
overtly influenced by Feminist Propaganda and some of us have succumbed to their deceit. Not to worry, there is
still time to counter their influence and win back our greatest glory as women.
Feminism is dying. Let’s give it a boost. With each name Homemakers for America adds to its list of members, we
become stronger and our voice becomes louder. NOW has been around for almost four decades and yet they have only
500,000 members. That is less than 1% of the women over 18 in America. Are you tired of NOW speaking for you? Are
you tired of THEIR agenda being pushed on OUR society in YOUR name?
NOW promotes abortion, same sex marriage and birth control in secondary schools. We have compiled a sample list of
their agenda items directly from they website. Below are some of things they are pushing in YOUR name…
- Abortion Rights
- Partial Birth Abortion
- Same Sex Marriage
- Full Equality for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered and Intersex people
- Promote a proactive media campaign promoting Marriage Equality (same sex marriage)
- Birth control in secondary schools
- Fight the Right Electoral Campaign
- U.N. oversight of U.S. Presidential Elections
- Increase number of Feminists elected to public office
- Facilitate removal of biased judges who support "Father's Rights"
- Oppose the diversion of public resources to religious organizations and their affiliates for public health
care and social service
There are 108+ million women in America. For the past four decades NOW has presented itself as the singular voice
for women in America and our elected leaders, educators, media and our society in general have bought it hook, line
and sinker. We have the power to send a very powerful message. “NOW doesn’t speak for ME!” We are the only ones who
can hold us back.
We ARE homemakers. It is time we stand together, support each other and recognize our influence and impact on
society. This is how we will defeat feminism- by being who we were meant to be and not who NOW has turned us
into.
If you are tired of the feminist agenda, if you are tired of them pushing their agenda in your behalf, if you are
tired of being ignored by your elected leaders, then it is time to speak out. If you are concerned with the
direction in which our country is heading, and you would like to see our Freedoms protected, the family preserved,
and God remain a part of our society, than we ask you to join us. With every voice we grow louder and WE Will Be
Heard!
